The feeling of being silenced is the worst feeling in the world. That feeling that no one ever listens to what you have to say or understands what you’re going through. I guess that’s why a lot of people keep to themselves & try to ignore the pain. Doesn’t change the fact the pain is still there. I respect those that open their mouths to speak out against the evils, ignorance & self centered behavior of society, for I am one of them. I will not keep my mouth shut to please anyone. I made the mistake of doing so in the past but I refuse to do so now. Never will I do that again. Never will I sit back & watch the human race or any living entity of that matter destroy itself without putting up a fight. Nor will I sit back & take fault for another person’s fuck ups. I will admit when I’m wrong but never will I say that I am wrong just to please someone else, knowing that I was truly right. People need to learn to defend when they are right but also learn to admit their faults & flaws & learn to fix them instead of saying, “Fuck it!”, “Whatever!”, “Idgaf!”, etc. No. No fucking way. You need to care & you need to give a fuck. I respect some of the overlooked, great martyrs of our time for what they fight for. Just the other day I read a quote from one of my favorite lyricists, Lupe Fiasco. He said, “You have to start giving a shit at some point, about something.” And that really hit me. ‘Cause no one cares about shit but themselves anymore. Stop being ignorant. Stop listening, reading, or watching ignorance. Explore art. Expand your minds & souls & never hold back what you have to say. Speak out on what’s wrong & gain control of the power that we all deserve. The power to change the world & make it a better place. That is the key. The key to happiness, the key to world peace, the key to the advancement of all of Humankind… But I guess ya’ll don’t hear me though…
